The use of corn grits and germ removal equipment
When corn processing equipment is in use, several of the more important equipment play a very large role. One of them is corn grits and degerming equipment.
So, how does the corn chipping and degerming equipment work? Let us understand in detail:
When the horizontal crumb-breaking and degerming machine is working, the corn enters the machine from the feed hopper through the flow adjustment mechanism, and is pushed to the iron rod by the screw conveyor.
The outer ring of the entire roller body is a round iron tube, and a gap of 22.5mm is left between the inner wall of the tube and the surface of the roller to form a grit-breaking and embryonic removal chamber.
The corn is broken under the action of the iron rod and the resistance knife, and the embryo is taken off, and then polished by the sand rod, and pushed to the discharge port through the discharge iron rod. The discharge port adopts a heavy weight pressure door to control the grit breaking the pressure of the degerm chamber.
When the hammer chip breaker and degerming machine is working, the corn enters the machine, is hit by the high-speed rotating hammer, and is broken by the impact of the corn with the shell and the sieve plate, passes through the sieve hole, and is discharged out of the machine through the discharge port.
The line speed of the hammer has a direct effect on the efficiency of crumb breaking and degerming. In order to improve the efficiency of corn grits and embryo removal, reduce the damage of embryos.
The advantage of the hammer chip crushing and degerming machine is that in the corn crushing and degerming process, the damage to the embryo is small, but the grits produced are rectangular, so additional grit shaping and polishing equipment is required.
