Corn is a kind of food crop that is often encountered in daily life. Since it can be made into grits and powder, it can be used to make porridge, noodles, steamed buns, etc., so it has good uses. We know that corn processing equipment is required to process corn. Let’s learn about the application of corn processing equipment in making grits and embryo extraction.
In corn processing equipment, corn grits extraction and embryo extraction are an important process. In modern corn processing equipment, corn grits extraction and embryo extraction are carried out simultaneously, that is, grits extraction and embryo selection. Generally, the process flow of corn processing complete sets of corn processing equipment is mainly divided into two types: grits and embryo lifting by suction-type specific gravity embryo lifting machine and grits and embryo lifting by gravity embryo lifting machine.
1. The process flow of suction-type specific gravity embryo lifting machine to lift grits and embryos adopts two suction-type specific gravity embryo lifting machines connected in series to lift grits and embryos. The materials after the grits are broken are graded with a flat sieve, and the 4-5W sieves are separated, and the 7-8W sieves are put into the embryo lifting machine. After the corn residue extracted by the two embryo lifting machines is shaped and polished, it is graded by screening and separated. After the large and medium grits are discharged, the slag and embryo mixture separated by the second embryo extraction machine enters the embryo pressing and grinding process to extract the embryos. In corn processing equipment, this process can extract corn residue with low fat content, but it cannot directly extract corn embryos.
2. The gravity corn embryo extractor extracts grits, extracts embryos, breaks grits, and degerminates the materials. Use a flat screen to classify the grits according to particle size to separate large and medium residues. After being peeled by the air selector, they enter two gravity elevators. The embryo machine selects large and medium slag and embryos; the large and medium slag is polished and shaped with a sand roller rice machine to become large and medium grits. The separated slag and embryo mixed materials are pressed into embryos and ground into powder. Generally, the embryos are further extracted after the second pressing and second screening. This process can directly extract corn embryos with higher purity.
